This paper is an overview of the scientific results that have been achieved during development a sustainable hydrogenolysis catalyst. The describes effects various synthesis methods and their parameters, as well effect diverse promoters supports on catalyst structure, activity selectivity in dimethyl adipate. From green chemistry point view, suitable alternative to Adkins was found laboratory scale.
